  • Inbred line (>25 sibling crossing, from the GRZ line, yellow tail morph)
  • Originally captured in Zimbabwe (-21° 40' 36.00", +31° 44' 0.00"), 1970
  • The reference line for both Stanford and Jena killifish genome assemblies

- DBL-W

  • Inbred line (>25 sibling crossing, from the ZMZ1001 line, yellow tail morph)
  • Originally captured in Mozambique/Zimbabwe border (-21° 48' 55.98", +31° 55' 52.32"), 2010
  • Captured spot 25 km away from the GRZ spot

- DBL-J

  • Inbred line (>25 sibling crossing, from the ZMZ1002 line, yellow tail morph)
  • Originally captured in Mozambique (-21° 55' 0.66", +32° 5' 52.14"), 2010
  • Captured spot 48 km away from the GRZ spot

- DBL-M

  • Inbred line (>25 sibling crossing, from the MZM0403 line, red tail morph)
  • Originally captured in Mozambique (-23° 0' 0.00", +32° 0' 0.00"), 2004
