Chi-Kuo was selected for the NIH Director’s New Innovator Award, which is part of NIH’s High-Risk, High-Reward Research program.
Chi-Kuo is thankful to all his great mentors who helped him grow along the way, especially Tim Mitchison and his infectious passion for research, Anne Brunet and her rigorous training in scientific communication, and also the MBL Embryology course directors Alejandro Sanchez Alvarado & Richard Behringer and the joyful culture of curiosity-driven science. These are all critical components of what kind of scientist Chi-Kuo aspires to be.
