The Dormant Biology Lab is officially open today!!!
Oddly enough, due to the COVID-19 pandemic & travel restrictions, “the lab” is in Chi-Kuo’s garage in Palo Alto CA at this moment. Luckily, our precious killifish lines have the option to enter diapause to live through this tough time. Just like the rain fills the ephemeral ponds to kick off another lifecycle in nature, they will resume their research duty when water fills our fishtanks in our newly built fishroom.
Very looking forward to moving into our sweet home at Stony Brook & meeting our amazing colleagues to start an exciting journey!
