About Me

Zhejun (Angel) Zheng

I have been living in Queens, New York, since moving to the United States at 10 years old. I have enjoyed exploring the city and trying new foods with my friends. In my free time, I like to travel, paint, and bake (especially, banana bread).

At Stony Brook, I decided to major in Biochemistry as I was interested in the different interactions and processes involved in biological systems. In the future, I hope to be able to matriculate into medical school to pursue my goal of becoming a physician. At the Dormant Biology Lab, I look forward to learning new skills and to understanding how different genetic components might contribute to development and diapause in the African killifish.
