Hello! My name is Michael and I am an undergrad student at Stony Brook University. I am majoring in Biochemistry and hope to become a genetic counselor in the future. I am originally from New Jersey and enjoy surfing, paddle boarding, and cooking in my free time. I also love planning fun trips with my friends, going to concerts, and to the beach.

I am fascinated by gene expression and hope to gain more knowledge on the subject by conducting research at the Dormant Biology Lab. I have loved biology ever since elementary school when we learned about ecosystems and animals. I am so excited to discover more about the natural world and understand the mechanisms of gene expression!
