My name is Guan. I am a Ph.D. student in the Molecular and Cellular Biology Program at Stony Brook University. I got my B.S. in Biology from UC Riverside and my M.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine from the University of Southern California. While at USC, I worked in Dr. Marc Vermuslat Lab, researching the effects of age and age-related diseases on organellar proteins distribution in the cell. I am interested in understanding the biology of aging and how it contributes to age-related diseases.

In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, cooking, and exploring new restaurants.
